Closing date for entry to the 2011 Womens Mini Marathon is 27th April 2011 or when the maximum number of entries is reached.  So, log on to www.florawomensminimarathon.ie to get registered.

Walk/Jog with Aiding Resources in the Womens

Mini Marathon on Bank Holiday Monday, 6th June 2011.  This year, we are supporting Kibondeni Catering College which operates courses for women in the slums of Nairobi, in Kenya, East Africa.

Here are some photos from the Act Now Project.  This project was directed at enabling poor women to receive skills training and work ethic specificially : 50 young women for the one year technical courses in hotel, restaurant, and other institutional services in toursim related industry and 100 participants for entrepreneurial course sufficient to give them accesss to opportunies for livelihood and employment.

We would like like to extend our sincere thanks to all those who took part in this years mini marathon.  We know it was a lovely rainy day and well done to all!  And now.. the pictures!
